| The elegant building in which Antico Restaurants stands dates back to 1787. The outside façade shows delightful examples of Georgian/Recency architecture. Early in its history the building was used as a post office, subsequently became an auction room and later an inn, and it was converted into a restaurant in September 1972. Step through the doors and enter into an “olde world” setting which has been restored to its original beauty. A wealth of antiques bedeck the walls, echoing the character for which Eton High Street is renowned. |
