| Tucked away behind London Road, it is well worth searching out the Bricklayers Arms for some of the best food in Kingston. Kevin, chef/proprietor, has been cooking at the Bricklayers for 15 years and has built up a great reputation for a regularly changing, inventive menu of the finest quality food, very generous portions and at reasonable prices. His traditional Sunday lunch menu includes a range of traditional roasts and is renowned locally and for vegetarians there is always an excellent selection. |
|
|
| One of the oldest pubs in Kingston, The Bricklayers Arms is a listed building retaining many of the original features. As a family orientated pub with the emphasis on comfort and quality, Kevin greets all his customers with a warm welcome. For the past five years the Bricklayers has been awarded a certificate of excellence for its real ales. |
| | Behind the pub is very pretty, child-friendly garden which is maintained to a very high standard with a children's play area and a perfect area for al fresco dining in summer. Kevin's collection of baseball caps from all over the world which adorn the walls and ceiling are contributed by the customers. |

| English |
| Traditional British dishes served in large portions. Sirloin and fillet steaks, home-made pies, chilli, jacket potatoes all feature on the blackboard regularly. Brown ale beef and dumpling stew (see pic) with fresh veg is always a popular choice. |
