The management and staff would like to welcome you to the newly refurbished Golden Palace. With an exciting new menu and very comfortable surroundings, soak up the ambience while you enjoy some of the best Chinese food in the South East of England.
Our restaurant specialises in serving Peking and Cantonese cuisine. From the north, Peking dishes are mainly rich and spicy with the most common flavourings being garlic, spring onions and hot chilli. Agricultural products of this wheat growing region are divided into many forms of pancakes, dumplings, noodles etc. The south, with its tropical climate, produces a variety of foods far too numerous to list, including game and seafood, thus creating hundreds of different dishes.
This is your opportunity to discover the diverse regional cuisines of China. "It's the skill of the chef and the quality of the ingredients that counts" as the old Chinese proverb says!
eat as much as you want

Cuisine
Chinese
The secret of Chinese cooking is to creatively blend the four main elements (colour, fragrance, flavour and shape) and the five major tastes (sweet, sour, bitter, pungent and salty) to produce exquisite dishes.
English
Sunday roast is perhaps the biggest culinary indication of traditional english cuisine. It begins with a Yorkshire pudding (either as a first course or as part of the main meal), followed by a joint of meat and assorted vegetables. The commonest joints are beef, lamb or pork; chicken is also popular. The British have many original home-made desserts such as rhubarb crumble, bread and butter pudding, spotted dick and trifle.
Thai
Rice is the main staple of Thai people. Steamed or boiled rice it is the elemental plate of the meal and will be eaten with several dishes. Thai cuisine combines vegetable, fish, and other meat cooked with many kinds of spices such as garlic, chili, lemongrass, coconut milk, tamarind, ginger, coriander, basil, and peanuts. The taste of Thai food is usually hot and spicy. The most famous Thai dishes are Tom Yum Kung, the spicy soup with shrimp and Pad -Thai, noodle fried with meat and vegetable.
