| The Oh Boy Thai was established in 1984 – the 5th Thai restaurant in England. Since then we have evolved to provide authentic Thai cuisine that does not hold back on the ingredients. | When the restaurant first started the cuisine was in a league of its own offering what was then a shocking fusion of Thai and French. Since that time we have introduced traditional Thai dishes. Thai cuisine is a must for any health conscious diner and the connoisseur of fine taste, not to be mistaken for the so-called Thai food found frozen or pre-packed in supermarkets. Thai cuisine is a hybrid of Chinese and Indian, bringing together the spices and the hotness of Indian cuisine whilst using the stir-fried technique of the Chinese cuisine. The blending together of these styles, with the numerous Thai herbs and flavouring, produces a balance of aroma and a harmonious taste. |
